Pre-Marital Counseling

We offer two program packages.  Our most comprehensive package is 8 (1 hour) sessions.  The cost for this package is $900 with $450 being payable at the first session and the remainder due during our 4th session.  The second package I offer is more of an a la carte package.  This package would include topic #1 and then your choice of 3 of the other available topics.  The cost for this package is $550. Please note, pre-marital counseling is considered a “self-improvement” service and as such does not typically qualify for insurance reimbursement. As such clients will be expected to pay for the entire cost out of pocket.

Our 8 session program is an approved Two Together in Texas Program.

All insurance claims are subject to a “medical necessity” requirement. Counseling Services deemed “not medically necessary” can not be billed to an insurance company.

Verification of insurance will be required prior to booking and all applicable co-pays/deductibles will be due prior to beginning the session.

Please note: insurance coverage typically does not specifically include “couples” counseling. It does typically include “Family” counseling which is actually quite different than couples counseling. The two types of counseling are often confused. I provide couples counseling I do not provide Family counseling.

While I do accept and will bill insurance companies for individual counseling I will NOT attempt to bill for couples counseling. All couples counseling services will be billed as “self pay”.

Client’s wishing to self pay may do so. Self pay rates are as follows:

Individual counseling: $135 an hour

Couples counseling: $150 an hour

Pre-marital counseling: package prices range from $550-900.
